ok it's a pain... but it works

ok ... i know i'm due an update .. but what am i supposed to post? .. heh

ok, as above, i'm not sure what i'll be updating on ... anyways i just got back off the phone a few minutes (ok, closer to like ... 20mins?) ago after calling joycelyn to apologise for getting pissed at her the other night on the phone ... and well .. hanging up on her ... well .. i figure we hung up on each other at about the same time .. :S ...

anyways ... yeah, spent friday night in the church kitchen preparing food for saturday ... cos it was 'parent's day' ... heh ... yeah, spent saturday morn in the kitchen too ... can u believe i cooked 7 kg (eqv. 14 large packs) of pasta?! ...wahahaha ... cooked 7 packs at a time ... 3.5kg .. nuts :S ... anyways my aunt said it was nice =P .. yay =)

also baked cookies last week .. can't remember exactly which day ... yeah .. but i baked double chocolate pecan cookies with oats =P yummy ... baked an extra large one of kaylin cos she asked ... hahaha ... then people started getting jealous ... lolz ... and *someone* ... suddenly came up to me and asked a very interesting question .. hahaha ... but thats another story for another day =)

ok, back to parents day, the other youths also prepared some gifts for the parents ... little butterfly thingies for the moms and mini cactus plants for the dads ... and personalised cards, no 2 cards are the same ... hahaha ... i mean, they can't all be equally horrible (or nice) ... can they? ... =) photos will come .. .soon .. i hope ..

spent sunday afternoon at ahmah's house ... yeah, and managed to snap some discrete photos of her .. .(she's supersitious ... and hates having photos taken .. u know, they believe cameras suck the soul out of people ... )

tomorrow will be the last day with CMO(my boss) out of the office for a while ... so yeah, i had better enjoy it =P .. heheh ...

and i forgot to charge my cam batt ... hahaha ... yeah =X ... still managed to squeeze out 70+ shots ... and covered the whole event before it ran flat ... and still can use flash and pass my cam to some future shutter bugs .. =P

in short, i love my e300 =)

anyways just a little update first ..

i just sold my little iriver ifp-195 mp3 player to a nice guy for $100 bucks .. (yeah i bought it about half a year ago for $150 ... so i figure 100 isn't that bad a loss..)

yep yep .. now that $100 bucks is going to my PSP fund ... lolz .. yep .. .PSP fund ... i'm on a little .. 'quest' if u would call it so ... to get my hands on a PSP ... argh ... to think i was saying it's such a brick a few months ago .. (yes, it's still a brick, especially with the playgear hardcase .. but it's a lovely powerful brick ...)

so far the best offer i've had is a ..

5mth old psp v2.6 standard pack + logitech playgear hard case + 1gb mspd + fifa '06 game

all for $300 .. which is pretty good a deal ... except i dun think i wanna spend $300 now ... well ... mommy 'owes' me $100 .. in some sense ... i just got $100 bucks from the sale of my small mp3 ... gonna get $75 from the sale of my GBA .. and probably another $40-50 from the GBA supercard .. ... but .. but .. the cash ain't in yet ...

so if i count the cash thats 'in' or will be 'in' soon .. i got $275 ... argh ...

once i sell my GBA i'll grab it .. if the nice dude is willing to hold it for me .. *i hope he does ..*

anyways enough on my 'quest' to get a PSP ...

now on to my 'quest' to learn the guitar ... hahaha ..

yeah, most of you would know my brother (Nat) who plays the guitar really really really really really well ... yeah. and recently i've had this sudden urge to learn as well ... and what do i know? .. nat's old .. i mean VERY old, dust covered, slightly damaged and kinda 'wrecked' retro style guitar ...was sitting in a corner ... with a few strings missing ..

so i go clean it up, get new strings and restring it ... painstakingly tune it (cos i don't know how to tune it other than with a tuner, which we don't have .. so i resort to d/l-ing a tuner prog and hooking it up to a mic to tune the guitar ... hahah ... and now i'm trying to learn on it ... it's not easy ... fingers hurt alot ... i guess everyone experiences that ... yeah .. will take some pix later ... i think .. and show u how he tried to 'zhng his guitar' ... hahaha ...
